'' Love comes from within.''

They said Love comes from the most unexpected places... but I want to add something ; Love comes from within us, we should not look for It in other people or other places. And we should not just agree to whatever traditions or our society dictates because the true happiness comes from our right decisions in life and our hearts because whoever we are , whatever our race, religion or gender is,...
if we will stand to whatever we path we choose in the end we will never regret anything for what we desire and I am pretty sure we will reach our ambition for today , tomorrow and for always. ~ Lhynn ~

Gifts that You can Give Yourself for Free...

The best things in life aren’t things.  So next time you want to give yourself a gift, save your money, and consider gifting yourself one of the following instead:

The freedom to be unapologetically YOU. – Wearing a mask wears you out.  Faking it is fatiguing.  The most arduous activity is pretending to be what you know you aren’t.  Trying to fit some idealistic mold of perfection is a fool’s game.  It’s much wiser to just be yourself – faults and all.  Take off your mask and start being unapologetic about who you really are.  Remember, imperfection is beauty; madness is genius.  It is better to be ridiculously you, than ridiculously boring by trying to be the same as everyone else.

An open mind. – Everyone you will ever meet knows something you don’t; everyone can teach you something new.  The purpose of keeping an open mind isn’t just to change your mind, it’s to expand your mind to understand the true potential in each moment of your life – to discover a self who has the ability to see more possibilities and expanded points of view (even the ones opposing yours) and then to choose creatively, intuitively, and sacredly going forward.
Using encouraging words. – Words are powerful.  They can create or they can destroy.  The simple words you choose, especially when you speak to yourself or about yourself, can offer encouragement and positive thoughts going forward, or they can send you further into despair.  So choose your words wisely.

Enjoying what you have. – The thing you need to do is enjoy the ride while you’re on it.  Think positive, be positive, and positive things will happen.  Do not spoil what you have by desiring what you have not.  Enjoy your blessings right now.  Remember that what you now have was once among the things you only hoped for.  Celebrate this.  Work on being so appreciative and happy that when others look at you, they become a little happier too.

Hope. – Remember, it’s always darkest just before the dawn.  Never underestimate the strength of your will to live after a loss, to love after heartache, or to rise after a fall.  For although your troubles may be too dense and dark right now for you to see the light, that doesn’t mean there isn’t a strong spirit within them, or a beautiful sunrise just beyond the horizon
Being the change you want to see. – Happiness, freedom, and peace of mind are always attained by giving them without expectation.  The only way to raise yourself up is to raise others up – to raise your world up – to raise all of life just a little higher.  Joy comes to you when you give it.  Happiness becomes yours when you live it.  Everything you need you are already capable of being.  So smile from the heart and fulfill the destiny that is yours in this priceless moment.

They say It's easy to help out someone specially if
you're capable of doing so. You may run out of
money trying to help people, but your desire to give
will never diminish. Someone once said '' that if you
need a helping hand, that you'll find one for sure,
at the end of your arms. And If you always extend a
hand to those in need, you'll realize that you actually
have two hands, one to help others and another to help
yourself. And when the time comes that you have nothing
more to give, you can put your hands together in prayers,
and ask God to help others endure any hardships that they
maybe going through.

You are in the driver's seat

Difficulties arise in the lives of us all . What is the most important is dealing with the hard times, coping with the changes, and getting through the other side where the sun is still shining , just for you. I t takes a strong person to deal with tough times and difficult choices. But you are a strong person. It takes courage. But you possess the inner courage to see you through. It takes being an active participant in your life. But you are in the driver's seat , and you can determine the direction you want tomorrow to go in. Hang in there... and take care to see that you don't lose sight of the one thing that is constant , beautiful , and true: everything will be fine- and it will turn out that way because of the special kind of person you are. So... beginning today and lasting a lifetime through- hang in there , and don't be afraid to feel like the morning sun is shinning ... just for you.

Inspirational Words ..To Live By ...

Live in the moment for the sheer joy of living it. When you do, each moment has a quality of ecstasy. Whatever the moment contains—joy, disappointment, sadness, excitement–welcome it. Don’t try to force it or change it; just allow it to be.

No storm can last forever. It will never rain 365 days consecutively. Keep in mind that trouble comes to pass, not to stay. Don't worry! No storm, not even the one in your life, can last forever.

Wounds don’t heal the way you want them to, they heal the way they need to. It takes time for wounds to fade into scars. It takes time for the process of healing to take place. Give yourself that time. Give yourself that grace. Be gentle with your wounds. Be gentle with your heart. You deserve to heal. You have a right to know peace in your skin. — Dele Olanubi

Your presence is a present to the world.

They say a person needs just three things to be truly happy in this world:
someone to love, something to do, and something to hope for.
I couldn’t agree more.  We all do a lot of talking about the importance of the first two,
but don’t forget to nurture your hope too.  And remember, hope isn’t the belief that life will always give you what you want; it’s the belief that life will gradually reveal what’s right.

Your presence is a present to the world.
You're unique and one of a kind.
Your life can be what you want it to be.
Take the days just one at a time.
Count your blessings, not your troubles.
You'll make it through, whatever comes along.
Within you are so many answers.
Understand, have courage, be strong.
Don't put limits on yourself.
So many dreams are waiting to be realized.
Decisions are too important to leave to chance.
Reach for your peak, your goal and your prize.
Nothing wastes more energy than worrying
The longer one carries a problem the heavier it gets.
Don't take things too seriously.
Live a life of serenity, not a life of regrets.
Remember that a little love goes a long way.
Remember that a lot of love goes forever.
Remember that friendship is a wise investment.
Life's treasures, are people  together.
Realize that it's never too late.
Do ordinary things in an extraordinary way.
Have health, hope and happiness.
Take the time to wish upon a star.
And don't ever forget ...For even a day . . .
 How very special you are.

There is a presence, a silence, a stillness which is here by itself.

Never regret anything that has happened in your life,

Never regret anything that has happened in your life, it cannot be changed,
undone or forgotten so take it as a lesson learned and move on.

When I look in the mirror, I see someone that resembles me, but yet seems like a stranger. Adding extra "stress" pounds doesn't help either. As I examine my face in the mirror I can see the toll that stress has taken on my skin. All those "tiny lines" I've had now seem like defined creases that won't diminish with repeated coverage of miracle skin cream. Even my eyes seem to have lost their sparkle and look dull to me. The years pass by so fast before my eyes.

But if  you ask me about my life, and ask if I have regrets, I would be pretty quick to acknowledge that I don't have regrets.   I've grown to be OK with "me." Don't be fooled by my answer though ... I have made plenty of mistakes!  I've been reckless and thoughtless, silly and some other unflattering descriptions.  I used to think that mistakes automatically equated with regrets.  On my personal path, however, I have learned to take responsibility for the actions (and inactions) of my past, to make peace with myself and others, and then to simply let go.

I've come to see life as this big journey ... the past is there for a reason  a stepping stone to teach me a "bigger" lesson.  It simply HAD to be that way so that I can be who I am now and who I will become in the future.  I've learned lessons, yes, but I don't live with major regrets.  I believe there are no accidents or happenstance , everything is intricately woven and occurs for a reason. Sometimes I have no idea what the reason is, but I know there is a plan in the Universe and I am a part of the plan.  I can trust that all things (including the past) are working together for good.  And so, regrets can seem like a waste of energy and time .

But then, I started thinking on a smaller scale.  While I see past "mistakes" as stepping stones, what about the "little" things (which really aren't so little) in life that I have missed?  I DO have regrets!  I regret certain things ... what haven't I said or done that I needed to?  What about not reading to a child because I am too busy, or not saying "I love you" to someone, or not taking an afternoon off of work to have a long lunch with a friend?   What about not offering a hug when it is needed?

Here's my story ... Being a single mother , I worked outside my country ( the Philippines ) for a very long time .. taking care of other kids, while my children are being cared by my own family back home. I missed many  things while they're growing up. It was very hard for me, most specially during the times when they needed me most specially when they were sick, wiping tears when they get hurt... missing many school achievements and more ..  during those times I almost give up and return home to be with them. I missed them very much each passing day , many sleepless crying nights wishing they were beside me, But I have to be strong and  ''Do what I have to do'' to give them a better life. That's the only option back then.  I don't even know If they understand me, maybe not maybe yes.  Finally with hard work , patience and perseverance. the day finally came that they joined me here in Montreal . That was 20 years  ago , If you asked me If I have any regrets .. Of course the answer is yes . Sometimes I did regrets leaving them. But looking at them now, with their own family I feel proud for them , because I know in my heart they have a better life raising their own children. Far from when they are growing up... Enjoying each day spending quality time with my grand children.

I realize that there are things I really do regret and time that I cannot recreate.  And while, I have gotten pretty good at "living in the moment," I still have much to learn about slowing down and realizing that the tiniest regrets can sometimes be HUGE ones.

We can all make a conscious effort to begin ''REALLY LIVING'' today.  To share our TRUE hearts with people. And knock down the walls that separate our egos from our spirit and share ourselves with love.  To live spontaneously and let our hearts be our guiding lights. To seek God and consciously ask ourselves , "What is the loving thing to do here... What will you do differently?
Accept your past without Regrets,
Handle your present with Confidence.
And face your future without Fear
.

It’s time to open the next chapter of your life... Are You Ready?

It’s time to open the next chapter of your life.
Are you ready?

As you live and experience things, you must recognize what belongs and what doesn't, what works and what doesn't, and then let things go when you know you should. Not out of pride, inability, or arrogance, but simply because not everything is supposed to fit into your life. So close the door on the past, change the tune, clean your inner space, and get rid of the dust. Stop being who you once were so you can become who you are today.

Life is your message to the world make sure It's Inspiring!

Many people promise themselves that some day they are going to "let go" and do what they want to do.  Unfortunately, the day never comes.  Only when circumstances push them to a point where they have "nothing to lose" do they do what they have always wanted to do.

You control the direction of your life.  Only your self-concept limits you from achieving your fullest capacity.  Since changes in behavior generally precede changes in attitude, action directed toward your vision will increase your sense of purpose and belief in the possibility of success.

How can you develop a self-concept linked to your untapped potential?  First, you can decide on the kind of life you would like to lead in ten or fifteen years.  This will give you a standard for making decisions about current activities and will reduce the inclination to compare yourself unfavorably to others.  Learn to ask, "How would I handle  this situation were  the person I hope to become?"  And then take action in line with your vision.

Life is your message to the world make sure It's Inspiring!

never stop yourself from living, loving, hoping and dreaming.

Don’t use your energy to worry. Use your energy to create, to love, to hope and believe.  ~Brigitte Nicole

Sometimes life can be very painful. It gets complicated at the worst of times, and sometimes you have no idea where to go or what to do. Lots of times people just let themselves get lost. But that’s why we have to keep trying. We have to push through all that hurts us, work past all our painful memories. Because sometimes the things that hurt us are the things that make us strongest. A life without experience, in my opinion, is no life at all. And that’s why I tell everyone that, even when it hurts, never stop yourself from living, loving, hoping and dreaming. You deserve it.

Stay strong and don't ever lose Hope ...

╭⊰✿Still round the corner there may wait A new road or a secret gate ,And though I oft have passed them by. A day will come at last when I Shall take the hidden paths that run West of the Moon, East of the Sun.  ― J.R.R. Tolkien✿⊱╮

Stay strong and don't ever lose hope Each dawn brings a new beginning and a chance to make things better. The best days of your life are coming. Choose to make that choice. Send that intention into the Universe so it is heard loud and clear.

"I am strong. I have faith. I am perfectly imperfect and I'm okay with it. I am doing the best I can. I will choose to make happy and positive choices which support me physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. I will say "Yes" to all good things coming my way. I will choose to let the painful and the negative dissolve. It is my path and I will find peace in my own way.
I choose to make the rest of my life, the BEST of my Life"

''Sometimes Life is hard , But it makes the sweet moments, So much sweeter .''

''Sometimes Life is hard , But it makes the sweet moments, So much sweeter .''

Often times we get this little image of how life is “supposed to be” in our heads. It’s natural. We thrive on security. Yet our image is nothing more than an artificial idealistic image. Sometimes life plays along with this image but often it doesn't. The universe is the perfect environment to sustain life as a whole, not as a servant to the multitude of different idealistic hopes and dreams of the individuals within it. We will face on a regular basis events and crises which will challenge us and occasionally cause deep hurts.

We can complain about the realities of life pushing ourselves into an un-escapable mire of self-pity or we can courageously accept the situation for what it is. Stand strong, pull up your big boy and girl pants, and then decide the most favorable course of action to take in the given set of unfavorable circumstances. When we develop the resilience to face the unplanned and difficult in an ethical and purposeful way, we will find our inner peace will thrive and our lives will flourish." ~Troy Murphy

Take Everyday as a Special Day!

As each new day dawns, let your mind turn to someone you can appreciate even more sincerely and consciously, someone whose immediate wellbeing is influenced by your moods and attitudes. What greater gift can you offer than your renewed awareness that they are doing their best? Affirm that. Speak up about what's going right. Express your gratitude and forget the rest. Your own happiness will soar. So will your self-respect.

LISTEN to the small, quiet voice within that only ever guides you with love and compassion. Let yourself receive the inspiration of beauty and kindness. Let yourself rediscover peace in your heart. And, from that secure place, meet whatever comes.

To listen well, you must be ready to HEAR what others are telling you. That means making your own mind quiet. And setting aside your assumptions that what you think or have to say is far more important. Listening with a receptive mind, your relationships flourish. Your world becomes far more interesting.

Everything changes when we begin the day, the activity, any moment conscious of gratitude and of grace. Rich in gratitude, we can be far less frightened...far more appreciative. It's gratitude that allows us to be more live, more subtle, less opinionated but surer of what matters. It's also gratitude that connects us most deeply to what is around us...on which, on whom we entirely depend. Every day is a special day.

Stop being scared to make a mistake... Stop running away from your problems

Stop being scared to make a mistake.

Doing something and getting it wrong is at least ten times
more productive than doing nothing. Every success has a trail of failures behind it, and every failure is leading towards success. You end up regretting the things you did NOT do far more than the things you did.

Start valuing the lessons your mistakes teach you.

– Mistakes are okay; they’re the stepping stones of progress. If you’re not failing from time to time, you’re not trying hard enough and you’re not learning. Take risks, stumble, fall, and then get up and try again. Appreciate that you are pushing yourself, learning, growing and improving. Significant achievements are almost invariably realized at the end of a long road of failures. One of the ‘mistakes’ you fear might just be the link to your greatest achievement yet.

Stop running from your problems.

Face them head on. No, it won’t be easy. There is no person in the world capable of flawlessly handling every punch thrown at them. We aren’t supposed to be able to instantly solve problems. That’s not how we’re made. In fact, we’re made to get upset, sad, hurt, stumble and fall. Because that’s the whole purpose of living – to face problems, learn, adapt, and solve them over the course of time. This is what ultimately molds us into the person we become.
Start facing your problems head on. It isn’t your problems that define you, but how you react to them and recover from them. Problems will not disappear unless you take action. Do what you can, when you can, and acknowledge what you’ve done. It’s all about taking baby steps in the right direction, inch by inch. These inches count, they add up to yards and miles in the long run.

Take charge of yourself

Take charge of yourself, and only yourself, if you want peace and harmony in your life. You're really the only person that you're completely in charge of anyway, so you might as well concentrate on what you can do instead of what you can't do.

You simply cannot control anyone other than yourself. Others will do what they want and what they choose to do, and they will sometimes cause situations that affect you in a less-than harmonious way. You can get angry about something that happens to you or something that someone does or says, but anger usually solves nothing and changes nothing for the better, and unresolved anger just makes you feel even worse inside on a deep, fundamental level. What others do is largely not up to you. How you experience something that happens is largely up to you. You can be angry, which on a deeper level is an expression of something else: sadness, resentment, frustration, fear, insecurity, and so on. Or you can search yourself deep down inside and find what's really bothering you about the situation -- which is within you -- and fix it, so you don't have to keep experiencing it. What you don't look for, find, acknowledge, work on, strengthen, and heal within yourself, you will simply re-experience again and again until you yourself fix it.

On a calm day, the ocean's surface looks smooth and tranquil. Somewhere underneath the surface, either just below or far below, sharks are swimming, and they can't be seen be the human eye. Sharks are potentially dangerous to us, and they live only to feed on what's weaker than them, and to breed. Just because we don't see them, doesn't mean they don't exist and aren't swimming silently and invisibly somewhere below. We see the sharks with our own eyes only when they swim up and break the ocean's surface or when we ourselves go down deep beneath below.

The same can be said of the personal issues we have -- which are our individual dangers and liabilities that jeopardize our personal peace and harmony -- that cause us to feel angry. We only know what is truly bothering us, what is truly preventing us from experiencing peace and harmony in our lives, when we are provoked to anger because something happens to us or someone does or says something that brings up bad feelings that come to the surface of our awareness of them.

Anger is only the evidence of the sharks that swim below the surface of how you look, how you act and how you speak on the outside. Only you know or can find what's really bothering you down deep inside on a fundamental level. What's bothering you isn't being angry, and it isn't the exact thing that someone did that's bothering you. It's why you're bothered that's the thing that's really bothering you. It's what's making you feel angry: sadness, resentment, frustration, jealousy, fear or insecurity, etc.. Repair and strengthen the parts within you that cause you to be bothered. Anything that's bothering you and affecting your ability to have peace and harmony in your life, is really YOU, and how you're experiencing your personal experiences. When you realize that, you realize you have great power that you can use or not use as you choose.

Give up the control of others and focus on going deep below your surface, and fixing and strengthening yourself. When you're strong, and have peace within yourself, very little outside can disrupt that peace and harmony inside you. Everything that makes you feel angry is an invitation to go deeper, and when you go deep and heal what's really bothering you. Nothing will bother you when you are so strong, peaceful and harmonious inside that you can't be bothered by anything that happens outside.

Happiness Starts with YOU

╭•⊰✿HAPPINESS STARTS WITH YOU ღ¸╭•⊰✿
1 - Make up your mind to be happy. Learn to find pleasure
in simple things.
2 -You can't please everybody. Don't let criticism worry you.
3 - Make the best of your circumstances. No one has everything , and everyone has something of sorrow intermingled with gladness of life. The trick is to make the laughter outweigh the tears.

4 - Don't take yourself too seriously. Don't think that somehow you should be protected from misfortune that befalls other people
5 -Do the things you enjoy doing , but stay out of debt.
6- Don't let your neighbor set your standards. Be yourself.
7- Never borrow trouble. Imaginary things are harder to bear than real ones.
8- Since hate poisons the soul , do not cherish jealously , enmity , grudges . Avoid people who make you unhappy.
9 -Have many interests. If you can't travel , read about new places.
10 -Don't hold postmortems. Don't spend your time brooding over sorrows or mistakes. Don't be one who never gets over things.
11- Do what you can for those less fortunate than yourself.
12 - Keep busy at something . A busy person never has time to be unhappy. Always remember that Happiness starts within yourself.   ╭•⊰✿ღ¸ shared by Lhynn ღ¸╭•⊰✿
