"Light Up Our Lives."

Life is not always perfect ... Often times, we're looking for some source outside our own selves to make our lives happy and to "light up our lives." We look for happiness, fulfillment, peace, meaningful relationships , a security in jobs, money and all material things, and more .. But if you make your happiness dependent on anyone or anything else, what happens if that person leaves you, fails you, disappoints you, or just isn't there anymore through no fault of their own? What happens if you lose all the material things that money can buy , that job ? Well, what happens is that people tie their happiness to people and things outside themselves, and then their happiness gets yanked around by those very people and things that their happiness is so firmly attached to.

Here's the "light bulb" moment for you: Allow outside people and things to enhance your life, not BE your life. Let outside people and things to bring light to your light, not BE the light of your life. That light is always within you, and you just have to find it for yourself and within yourself.
