"It's said that desperate times call for desperate measures"

 

Well... I don't believe in that. I'm a great believer that anything done or said in a state of desperation is not a good thing. Dark times call for faithful measures. When we find ourselves facing challenges, we need to place our faith in a Higher Hand to guide us through darkness into the light. It's not easy by any means, but one small step leads to another. It starts with us, in adopting a positive attitude, in opening our hearts, and in knowing that whatever happens is for our highest good. It's better to work diligently to maintain a calm state of mind, so any decision is a thoughtfully made one. And a little faith can go a very long way, even in the most dire and dark circumstances. Have some faith: hope, optimism, confidence that your dark circumstances will lighten and brighten somehow, some way. This always feels better than feeling completely hopeless. Better decisions are made when you're calm, not in desperation.
