Let my soul heal on it's own. Let me endure the pain of my broken heart. Don’t hold my hand if you cannot promise to hold it forever. Don’t wipe my tears today if you won’t be there to wipe them tomorrow. Don’t let me lean on your shoulder when I am sad if you cannot promise to stay forever. Don’t light the spark of love in my heart if you cannot keep the flame burning. Don’t show me beautiful dreams if you won’t be there to fulfill them. Don’t give me beautiful memories because when you will be gone there will be no one to wipe my tears, or hold my hand or give me a shoulder to lean on.
